I'm noticing a slight pull to the right, in fact I formerly thought it was due to the crest of the road, but it seems constant on all roads, anyone else?

For those of you who claim to notice NO problems with your alignment, when you take you hand of the wheel do you literally notice NO pull whatsoever? Just trying to make sure that there really IS such a thing as near perfect alignment on this car! :)

Doesn't Lexus offer free alignment checks on new cars, up to a certain mileage?

Updated TSIBS relating to this:

tustin lexus...
i took my IS back in and specifically said to check my alignment, they didn't. The shop foreman said that they can cross rotate the wheels to see if its a "radial tire pull" issue,he said that it pulled the opposite way after cross rotation so the tires are the problem..

next week im getting new tires for the front and if it still pulls to the right i'm not going to be happy one bit.

they didn't take my concern about caster into consideration at all, that really pisses me off, if it is a caster they're all going to get a broom stick up there asses. sorry just venting a bit..

Try to be patient, it may work out for you. And don't worry too much about them NOT having to mess with the caster adjustments, sometimes that can do more harm than good. Curious though why they're not replacing all 4 tires, that had been protocal for me and others.

BTW, I've moved your thread to the stickied topic up above on this issue. Your thread will still appear for the next 7 days, but any further posts will autmatically go up above.

I put nitto 555 on the front and the gforce kdw new tread on the rear at about 800mi for the rear 1500mi for the front. i have a 07 is250 purchased in late august and have almost 17000mi on it, i got a flat on the rear on the fourth day i had the car and decided to change the rear tires then changed the front tires about a week later. I didn't feel comfortable taking 500mi trips with the potenzas

on wed i'm going to put some gforce kdw on the front and see if it truly is a radial tire pull issue.

Sorry I have been away putting miles on my girl.. No.. you did not misread that.. hell, I thought I did not hear him right when he said it... LOL.

Actually I am not inside 400 miles to schedule her 25k check up and replace the tires. I have a call into an dealership down in Austin where I have a source to find out if there is anything I need to have checked again -- Its not that I dont want to drop coin on my girl... hell I gotta anyway.. but damn.. if there is something causing the problem mechanical thats been documented and not addressed.. Hence, I keep my records like a maintenance book for Air Force 1.. for my own protection-- not cause I am a Freak like that (mostly). Actually.. I have really been moderate with the tires and just wanted to see how much i could push them but if there is an alignment issue that was not addressed or checked, then if there are parts bushings replaced at the next check up.. there will be one irate call to the 800-25 Lexus line and I can promise something will be done. We will see and I will keep you guys posted. Sorry its been a while. BTW... who has the higest number of miles on the Bridgestones ?

Hi everyone,

Noobie here :) I'm having the same problem too with my '07 350. I bought it back end of Jan 07 and have about 17K miles on it. I know the tread life on the Bridgestone's aren't that great, but should I be expecting this? I made an appointment for this Friday and they want a tech to road test with me. Any advice on what to tell them/what to check?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome aboard! :) Are you saying your call is pulling to one side on a relatively flat road (middle lane of a 3 lane hwy is the best test) If that's the case, just show them what happens when you take your hands off the road, let them know you understand there were a bad batch of tires out there and you fear a new set may be the best remedy.

Keep us posted and good luck! :)

I do.. mine is 07 IS300 gulf specs middle east.. i ended up changing tires from Bridgestone potenza to Michelin Primacy from Lexus agency tires department and did 5 alignment but no hope.. then my friend wanted to get new tires for his BMW 530i so i went with him to Goodyear, guess what ended up letting Goodyear do the alignment and they fixed it..

I think the car is sensitive to the road leaning to the right.. but Michelin + Goodyear alignment is heaven compared to Bridgstone.. add to that Michelin wear lasts longer than Bridgestone, i'm saying this cuz most of streets here in Dubai are highways and its 45c during day for like 8-9 months.

btw i'm new hear so hi :p
