Ok here we go. Id like to run 17x9's all around. My tires are 225/45 front 235/45 rear. My question is what would be the best offset. +45 or +35? Thanks!

17x9+35 will be the only offset to work.

17x9+45 will hit the upper suspension upright in the front...

I'd get some 10mm spacers for the rear to even out the poke.
+35 (front)
+25 (rear + 10mm spacer)

Oh, and staggering tires on non-staggered wheels is retarded.

Ok so heres what I can do, 17x9 +35 front, and 17x9 +22 rear w/ spacers and I should be good to go.

I already have the tires so Ill have to roll around like a tard I guess. There really isnt enough size difference to be that bad though My plan was to go staggered but the wheels I want look horrible in anything under a 9" wide wheel..

Hey guys I need some help, Im looking to get some xxr 552s, will 19x8.5 +38/19x10 +40 fit? or will i have to run crazy camber to prevent rub? I've read most of this thread, yet offsets and everything still confuse me.

I was looking to run 245/40/17 tire set up all around but was told tires would rub upfront.

whats a good tire combo non-staggerd for 17x9.5 +28 all around.......no stretch!

Nothing. Without pulling your fenders 1.5" and running more than -3* of camber, you won't get away without stretching tires with a 9.5 up front.

I want a non-staggerd setup will i have to go down to like 8.5 or 9 for anything to work with no stretch (streetable track car basicly)

Yes. Read the first post and do the math yourself. An 18x9.5+28 is 28mm *over* the front fender limit.

Okay... So, I found 18x8.5 et45 and 18x10 et51 Just want to ensure my calculations are correct.

Front:
8.5 * 25.4 / 2 - 45 = 62.95 (OK)
8.5 * 25.4 / 2 + 45 = 152.95 (OK)

10 * 25.4 / 2 - 51 = 76 (BAD)
10 * 25.4 / 2 + 51 = 178 (OK)

Now these rims come with tires. Can I use them if they are:
Rear 265/35/18

Front 225/40/18

I know it's the rear that will need work, but is a 265 too much in the rear? What can I do for a mild stretch on the rear? 255? or is 265 okay?

Thanks in advance!

Front:
225/35/19 if you want. A 215/35/19 would fit easier. You'll still need to roll the fenders unless you are running a good amount of negative camber.

Rear:
245/30/19 or 235/35/19. You'll have to roll flat and trim/attempt to roll the bumper tab.

Front will fit fine with no roll or anything.

You'll probably be fine in the rear too. Just roll the fenders flat/trim the bumper tab. If you have to step down to a 255/35/18.

^^^ White Is, the fronts will not work. They come out to be 72.95 and the clearance is 65 That there already you have a problem even with a streched tire and all.

Guys am I correct?

now for all you tire guys out there, how much smaller of a rear should I be aiming for?

I'm running an 8 +17 with a 215 up front.

8 *25.4 / 2 - 17 = 84.6

I also only have -1.7* of camber up front.

And I just said you can make the 265 work. A 255 will obviously give you more room though. It depends how much you want to roll the fenders.

Again, I'm running 9 +27 with a 235 in the rear. And only -1.5* of camber.

9 * 25.4 / 2 -27 = 87.3

As long as the 265 isn't a tire that runs wide, it should fit VERY similar to my 235 on a 9. You will have to roll the fender flat and mod the bumper tab, but it will fit. And you'll have to do almost the exact same mods to get a 255 to fit so it's your choice.

Sorry, I read that last post wrong... I thought you were someone asking. So, I picked up the wheels tonight. Authentic SSR GT3s 18x8.5 et45 and 18x10 et50.

Thanks for the help!
