this is all i got on stock fenders..

That makes me think I should have gone with a 10mm spacer for the front........ Dammit.

See, that's what I can't decide. This how my front is sitting from a couple different angles...

Doesn't look like I need much here...

But here it looks like I need a small-ish one.

But Travis you shouldn't have too much trouble selling your spacers. I say get them and put them on and see how it looks, send me pics, and then decide And if you do change your mind and want 10mm's, PM Leon, Da2Is I will most likely be buying mine from him (great prices)

honestly, im kinda hesitant to push the fronts out too much due to the way the front wheels turn and the chances of the tires catching the inner lip of your fenders and pull it outwards. (ive had it happen to me, i believe Vi3tboy had that happened before too)

im really just trying to go for the looks good, drives good, and all is good. people are taking this whole "flush" thing to a whole new level.. a level that doesnt allow you to fully enjoy driving your car without worrying about whether you can turn your steering wheel on a dip or not.

i believe maxing the front camber might be able to allow you to push it out with a 10mm..

Hahaha I should get them Monday, so I'll post pictures then. I measured it today, and I think with a 5mm up front, it should be pretty flush. BTW Corey, that looks sick!!!

^^^ That exact situation happened to me while I was driving through Tempe one night right by ASU. I heard a big grinding sound when I too a bad right turn with a dip.... That was the end of my fender! It's actually still like that, but I just bent it back a bit.

Not worth being that low.

thundercloudIS: Your combo does look good man. I say keep the wheels.. Rear offset is gonna be tough if you decide to buy them since theyre +15. You'll be sticking out around 30.65mm ( :O ). I say you go with 5mm in the front and 15mm in the back.

white_is: loving the white and gold! Your setup looks almost perfect IMO.. I say just go with a 3-5mm for the front and maybe a 10mm for the back?

twestman: I think you might be able to get away with a smaller spacer up in the front.. i was going through your thread and saw your setup.. the rear looks fine since your not looking too aggressive for DD.. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you're running smaller tires up front (215F and 245R). Maybe a 5mm spacer for the front will give 1 or 2 more pts on a scale 1-10

I was going to leave the front fenders stock and see if I rubbed any as is. If I did then I planned to go all out and do this... Scroll down closer to the bottom and you'll see what I'm talking about.

My IS Story: Day 1 - Page 10 - Club Lexus Forums

And everything on my suspension is stock besides coilovers and sway bars, and my is at about -1.8* right now. I guess I could try to run more negative camber but I don't think it would be necessary if I rolled the fender like that thread.

Thanks man! Definately get some pictures up Our fronts are essentially the same so it will give me a good idea!

I am actually really happy with the way it sits right now. I would just prefer to have the front a little closer to the fender the match the back. But the only thing I'm imagining is when I roll the rears (and fronts) it is going to pull the fender out a little bit too. So then I would need bigger spacers. So for now I'm gonna wait until I get my fenders rolled and drive around for a couple days.

And my front is an 18x8 +37 and twestmans is an 18x8 +38. We both have 215/40/18's

215/40 is the way to go! It gives you just *that much extra clearance in the front.

If you're careful enough, the fenders won't move out at all and only the lips will be rolled. Gotta do it really slow though!

How are you driving around with that 18x9+37 in the rear?!!? LOL letting the tire do the rolling for you?

Oh and I also did some more measurements for fender-ground clearance today.... 23.4" F and 23.5" R

Yeah I like the look of the 215 too And it looks like Monday is the day

You really think I'm driving around like that??? No way. I just put them on to see how it looked lol. Took some pictures of them and then put the stock wheels back on.

And you suck. I didn't get to really let my springs settle or anything but it was obvious that the car was raised up a little with the new wheels on. Hopefully it goes back down once I ACTUALLY get them on. If now I'm putting my $60 springs on

I was pretty hesitant to go with a 215 honestly. But I'm glad I did. It looks really good and I still have a good bit of room. Monday I'm gonna put the front wheels on before anything else and drive around and see if it rubs. It didn't look like it would, but I might roll them anyway so I won't have to worry about it when I get spacers.

What wheels and sizes are you going with?

Just FYI I don't rub at all and I'm about a 1/2 inch lower than you are

But when I put in the 5mm spacers... It might rub a tad.
