Is this safe

I'm changing my nuts. Is it safe to take one off, put a new one on, and retorque, or should I loosen, jack up car, and then take all five off? Clearly, the first way is easier, but are there issues with that method? Thanks.

There's nothing wrong with the first way you said. Just make sure you torque them down to spec. Usually 80ft lbs
