do you have the original key code?
were the locks purchased from Lexus?

if so... you can contact McGard. They are the company that makes the locks and keys. If you provide them with the key code and proof of ownership (not sure what they would you for) then you can buy one directly from McGard and save yourself the headache of being overcharged by the Lexus dealership. The last time I checked, it was $10, but it might have gone up.

Good Luck.

I broke the key for my Ltuned wheels, I called Mcguard and they said to just send them pics of my lug nuts. I took about two weeks to get the key, and it was about $20.

I paid $47 cdn for a whole new security lug set from Lexus with the key. From what they tell me, you have to buy the set since they just don't sell the key.

the key is the same on all cars guys. My lexus "security key" for the lugs, worked on a toyota. If you want mine, give me 15 bucks+ shipping and i'll send it out, as i dont need it.

no it's not.

granted there aren't very many "key" patterns, but there is definitely more than one.

seven, it was probably a coincidence that your key matched up with a toyota key, but to my knowledge, i think there are actually 12 different patterns.

Hey, i had to buy a wheel lock key 2weeks ago for my 03 IS 300, i went to the lexus dealership in Cherry Hill NJ, the guy came out with a case and matched it up, cost me $25. Dont even bother worrying to save a buck, just go straight to the dealer. I was in and out in 5 Mins.

when i bought my 04 it did not have the keylock for the wheels with it. i went to Discount Tire and although he said they charge $5 each to get them off, he did not charge me. unfortunately our lugnuts are special from Lexus, i forget the term, tapered maybe? anyways i plan on just replacing the key lugnuts with standard ones. i dont think many people are going to be stealing OEM IS wheels.
