Funny you ask... I just got it installed a couple of weeks ago. The kit made a big difference. When i bought it from you i wasnt to low with the coilover set that i had on, but i then installed koni/H&R setup and needed it pretty bad. So far so good.

Did you have the car lower in the rear with the 17s? cause it looks a lot lower (and if the 26"diamiter of the 18 tire would tuck it even more I would think, but it doesn't look like it in the pic). I guess basically what I'm asking is how much did you lower the car (with the 18s) and all you had to do is roll the fender in the rear?

Also, by any chance do you think you can take some pics of the clearence of the inner and outter of front and rear? I have the tein S-tech and since my raer tires are getting a little bald, I was gonna get some of these. I've always loved them but wasn't sure if they would fit without mods or replacing the rear tire with a smaller width (short on money ya know?) Thanks man

I was lowered on the H&R/Koni with the 17's. I had 15mm spacers in the rear with the 17's and took them out when i put the 18's on. Yes, the 18's are very close to the fender now, and only rub when i have people in the back. The rubbing is only when driving through large dips or hard turns. Its not a nasty rub either, very light if that makes any sense. I just did my brakes in the rear not to long ago and noticed some rub marks on the inside of the wheel well. The 255/40/18 tires in the rear seem to be a perfect size for me. I hardly ever have people in the rear, and if i do the rubbing isnt something that worries me as its not anything major.

Another 1IS with 2IS wheels

I'm an old hand at newer car model's wheels on older model cars.

My 1989 Nissan Maxima had 1999 Maxima SE-L rims (titanium tinted). I also had a set of 02-03 Altima SE rims that I never got to put on the maxima.

My 1989 240SX (daily driver) has 5-spoke Sentra SE-R Spec V rims.

Now, my 04 IS300 has 06 IS350 18 inch rims. Sorry for the bad angle, my youngest brother took this pic. I know, I need to lower it. I plan on lowering it once my credit card recovers from my spending.
