Would stock IS350 Wheels fit Is300?

18 x 8 45mm offset, rears 18 x 8.5 50mm offset

These are the IS350 stock wheels. Would they fit IS300??

yes, there are a couple threads with pictures if you search

Have a question? Try the my.is FAQ or, if you can't find an answer there, search before posting your question (hopefully in the correct forum).

Yes, they fit fine. You might have issues with the stock tires on the rear rubbing if you're lowered though. I went to 225/40 and 235/40 with my current tires. I'm going to try and squeeze some 245/40's on the rear next week.

Search some of my previous posts for pics.

I went with the staggered setup so the rears would stick out a little.

Upgrade to IS350 Wheels/Won't Shift at WOT

I purchased car a few years ago and have just been driving it - I got a steal on some IS350 18" wheels and like new stock sized tires for 800 bucks via local pickup today (225/40 and 255/40 Dunlop tires). Nice wheels but the rear is a bit tall of a tire for me (stock suspension).

I took it out for a drive and liked the feel and definitely the look but then I noticed the car won't shift at WOT! I can't find this issue anywhere here or on the net so it leaves me confused. No CEL but it feels like the car is upset over the rear tire size and/or speed reference. This is a stock 01 IS300.

Ideas?

I just bought some is350 wheels and tires off ebay. I was wanting the wide tires for the rear as the turbo IS i just bought has 500hp. I didnt really want stock wheels but was having a hell of a time find rims that would fit wide tires that didnt cost 2-3k and these are darker finish so i think they will look good on ggp. I was going to mount them myself but if the fender need a little shave guess i will take it some where...

Id hate to reopen this topic, but I just got the is 350 wheels for my IS300. 225/40/18 in the front and 255/40/18 in the rears. It doesn't look like it is touching or rubbing, am I running any danger by having such wide a tire on the rear? Is there any markings on the wheels that will indicate which one is for the front and which one is for the rear incase I get new tires and the tire shop F8cks up. I am stock height atm.

THanks.
