Stock IS300 with 250/350 wheels

Just thought I'd post a few pictures from my cell of my stock 300 with the stock 350 wheels. Yes, they bolt right on, and I haven't had any problems with rubbing yet (although I'm a little weary of having two people in the back.)

UPDATE: After driving for awhile on the 350 wheels and having another person in the car, I have had some slight rubbing on a hard corner, or good dip in the road.

it will run, depending on your tire size, but i recommend cutting the rear fender like 4mm

I wouldn't worry too much about people in the back being that you're still on a stock suspension, I'm dropped on tein cs and only get a slight rub when i hit a fairly big dip or bump.
hopefully I'll get my fenders rolled this week and won't have to rub anymore!

Question on fitting IS250/350 rims on the IS300

This one dude is selling 3 of the four rims from an is250. The fourth rim was damaged. He hasn't gotten back to me yet as to which was damaged. The front or the rear.

Anyways. I'm wondering if the 18x8.5 rim size is consistent for front and rears. If they are, then i'll probably picked the up. If not. Can someone tell me the width size for the front and rears. I went to ebay and they had one for sale but it was for teh rear. Could it be that the rears are wider? Lastly if they will fit an is300. Thanks in advance.

These are the rims

I know we've all beaten this to death about using the search function. Its just i wasn't sure where to post this thread since the matter at hand was cross interchanging parts between the first gen and second gen. Should i have posted this in the first gen or second gen. Sorry for the trouble. Anways, thanks for the welcome and pics. Looks good.

But like i said before. I don't know if an first gen owner or a second gen owner would know. But is the rim size 18x8 all around for the IS250? And 18x8(F) and 18x8.5(R) for the IS350s? Reason is the person that are sellin the rims above says its 18x8 all around because its from a IS250. Is this true?

No, no trouble at all. You posted your thread in the right sub-forum, so if you hadn't, it would've been moved by a moderator.

To the best of my knowledge, ALL ISx50s with the 18" wheel option get the staggered setup. Even the optional ISP Mode, G-Spyder and X-package wheels are staggered. The guy selling the IS250 rims may be confused by the fact that the 17" wheel option for IS250s is 17x8.0 all around.

Truthfully, unless you're putting some serious power to the ground or want a staggered look and don't mind paying extra money to have tires dismounted and remounted from each wheel for every rotation, go with 18x8.0, 225/40R18 all around.

Hope this helps.

If you're interested, I'll sell mine for $1050 shipped anywhere in the US. They are in near mint condition with no curb/rash damage at all. They have 225/40 front and 235/40 rear tires. The tires are Ryken and you don't have to shave/pull the fenders at all and I'm dropped on Hotchkis springs. PM me if you're interested.
