The IS250/350 with 18" wheel option has the follwing specs:
F18x8.0 +45 225/40R18 (25.1" tall)
R18x8.5 +45 255/40R18 (26.0" tall)

Your IS300 with the 17" wheel option has the following specs:
17x7 +50 215/45R17 (24.6" tall)

If you are buying those IS350 wheels & tires as is, there are two problems

1) Overall Diameter. The IS350 is designed to run shorter tires in front and taller in the back. Both front/rear measurements are bigger than the diameter of the IS300 so your speedo will be thrown off and shows you a lower speed reading when you're actually going faster (i.e. showing you 60mph when you're actually going 62mph).

2) Fender Clearance. The IS350 wheel/offset/tire combo fits the IS300 front's nicely, should have no problems. The rear wheel/offset/tire combo will not fit without modifications to either your fender or changing to a smaller tiresize. To fit a 255 wide tire on 8.5" rim your wheel offset needs to be +55, the IS350 rear wheel is only +45.

The ideal way to use IS350 wheels on an IS300 is to buy four IS350 front wheels only (18x8 +45 225/40R18). But I guess your current situation is that you came across a set of staggered IS350 wheels and you want to know if it will fit "as-is". The anwser is no.

For the guy with the link posted above, he had to change out the rear tire from 255/40R18 to 235/40R18. Or you can roll your rear fenders and hope the rears will fit Either way, some work will be involved

hey that is my iswith the 350 wheels you could run a bigger tire if you are not dropped or if you run a smaller profile tire like a 255/35/18 i have the 8.5 in back and i thought the back rims are a +50 not +45

I will be putting these wheels on soon as well and thinking about 245/40/18 or 245/35/18 in the rear. Would I be better off with the 35 series tire? will it look noticeably different if I run a 40 series in the front and 35 on the rears?

IS350 18 1/2" 45/50 offset wheels with General Exclaim UHP 225/40 and 245/40 tires. No issues at all with stock setup.

There is one incorrect statement in this though...... the rear is a 18x8.5 +50, not +45. You can run the stock setup on an IS with the exception of running a 235 or 245 tire due to rubbing issues.

After selling my current setup today, I believe this is what I'm going with. When I look at the rear 255 tire on the 2IS, it's a little too fat for my taste. Here's the only pic that I have now.

I've been looking into getting 2IS wheels for my car as well. I like the look of the X-Package wheels in particular (anybody here have them already?) and only want a 1" drop. Anybody have pics, pls post them

My IS300 w/IS350 wheels. Pics of my previous rides also.

So......... I finally got around to taking some pics of my car because the weather was so nice. They're not too creative because I didn't have a lot of time. I went with some IS350 staggered OEM wheels with Ryken tires. The fronts are 225/40 on the 18x8 and the rears are 235/40 on the 18x8.5. I'm currently running stock suspension. Anyways, here are the pics.......
