Lexus IS-300 TRAC OFF problem help!!!

Hello,
Drove my IS-300 today I made a hard left turn (trying to beat the yellow light). Latter I noticed that my check-engine light was on and the TRAC OFF ICON on my dashboard keeps flashing every 3 seconds. After I parked my IS300, turned off the car and turned in back on and still the same problem shows. "Solid check-engine light and my TRAC OFF keeps Flashing every 3 sec". Anybody has encountered this problem before?. Please feel free to post here.

FYI:
- My vehicle is a 2002 Lexus is300 approx: 85,200miles. 5sp. mods, recently added fully adjustable coilovers.

Honestly I would pull the negative off your battery for a few minutes and hook it back up to reset your ECU. If it comes back on, then have it scanned and post the code(s) here as mentioned. It can be anything from a misfire to a speed sensor or ABS sensor. I would say its ok to drive it to get it scanned, but have caution when driving as your traction control may be disabled.

^^Reseted my ecu by removing the battery negative. Left it out for about 3 mins, problem fixed "No check engine and TRAC OFF". Could this be just a hecKUP on the 02 sensors. What could cause this problem?

Damn after 2 days of driving the problem came back again! I will get the codes read via scanner. Any suggestions on a good scanner?

Its good to have your own scanner, but just about every auto store reads it for free.

^^Okai, could be a bad o2 sensor as well. Didn't have the chance to get the codes read.Lexus Dealership was charging me $125.00 to get it read. So I'm getting a code reader instead. Any recommendations I'm still shopping around for a good 0b2/0bd1 diagnostic reader.
