due to the fact that no one has brought up these questions I'm about to ask, I must be really dumb.
can someone point out the number 10 Pin as I see no "10" on either plug, just 9, 11, 17 so on..
or maybe start me off by pointing out which black plug it is on... the right or the left one.
thank you.
and can I get instructions on how to do the fog light mod without bending anything?
The plug is labelled with pin numbers. You're responsible for being able to count consecutively...that is. The pin after 9 and before 11 is "10".
How to do the mod without bending anything? No. You can't. Just bend it. It's a $5 relay. If you break it, just spend 5 bucks to buy a new one.
This should be quick and easy. 30 min or so. The quickest I've done this was 12 minutes and I did it in the streets.
If you want to skip the part in the steering column, you can...That just ensures that your fogs stay on even with your highbeams. The important modification is the bending of the spade.

the fog relay is expensive....(i know from experience)
it's not a specific "fog" relay.
It's the same relay as any other 12V 30amp relay in the car.
Dealers mark up their parts. What price did you get yours for?

16. Choose a fuse and either get a piggy-back fuse kit from an auto store or simply stick the wire in the fuse hole, and push the fuse in behind it. The fuse you choose determines when the fog lights are able to turn on.
Which fuse do you recommend piggy-backing?

I just did this and it didnt work, any suggestions? Did i possibly cut the wrong wire? There is one labeled 11, so i cut the one right next to it, it was the very last wire on the far side of the plug, right next to number 11, but nothing? Ant thoughts or suggestions or does anyone have a good picture of it?
