Its a cheap way to get different looking lights so some guys will get them even if they do look like trash.

hey ive had these on for over a year. never had problems with any LEDs burning out until just the last month. but for a little over a year i had no problems. problem now is i probably gotta replace the whole taillight.

Not really cuz even if you had custom-made LED taillights, the one's that have been made by some of the members here, then you'd have to open the taillights back up just to replace one bulb.
So with anything LED, whenever one goes out its gunna be a b*tch to fix, regardless.
