There are a lot of instructionals on this site of how to do this but I will explain the way I did it. I didn't take a whole lot of pictures so you can just look at the top of this post for the ones I did.
1. Remove the bumper. If you need to know how to do this do a search...I don't want to type all that out.

It's not that hard.
2. Once the headlights are out, make sure to remove the HID bulb. Everything else can stay.
3. With the oven pre-heated to 250 degrees use a cooking pan that the light will fit on and do one light at a time. Put it in for about 7 minutes then check.
4. Make sure the tabs around the light are ready to come out and then slowly start to pull. It may not come out at first but at least get it started. (If the glue starts to come loose use a tiny flat head and run it through the seems the help break the glue loose)
5. If needed, put the light back in the oven for a few minutes and repeat step 4. Eventually it will come apart. Just make sure you don't over cook it.
6. Once apart, the part to paint will come right out. Take the clear turnsignal part out as well. (I painted this with RC car tint spray paint to match the black but still allowing light to shine through)
7. You can either paint the whole middle piece or do what I did and mask off your own rings (see pic). Just take your time with the masking making sure every part of the tape sticks. Also, make sure to use the blue masking tape so it doesn't hurt the chrome.
8. Use anywhere from 600-1000 grit sandpaper and lightly sand the part you are painting. It doesn't have to be completly sanded perfectly, just do what you can and get most of it.
8. I used about 3 coats of flat black paint. Just paint light coats until it looks right.
9. When unmasking, make sure and remove the tape VERY slowly so you dont peel off any chrome....the IS lights are very delicate.
10. After they look like you want put them all back together and heat the oven back up. Push the light as together as you can get and put it in the over for about 5 minutes.
11. Take it back out and you should be about able to push it until the tabs click back into place. If not put it back in the oven for a couple more minutes until you can.
12. Just to be sure I used a plastic/glass sealer I got from home depot to fill in where I thought was not back together like stock. This is good just to be sure no moisture gets in.
13. Repeat the steps for the second light and the fogs if you want and put your car back together....its that easy
Be sure to do this at your own risk. What I did worked for me but every little thing differs with everyone. Ex. Oven temps, year of car etc. I may have missed some stuff but this is the general idea of what I did.
