At least its an option for us who have 2001s and our headlights are getting old and starting to yellow and we don't have $$$ for OEM or ACC. (mine also is getting moisture in it) Thanks for giving it a try Jemini.
Not a fan of angel eyes on anything but BMW, but the housings themselves look great. If they made a set of dual projectors without angel eyes, I could see a lot of people buying them, it would be an awesome mod.

I'm sure it's very doable for someone who has the skill to do that retrofit.
The LED's on the bottom don't do anything. I have them disabled. Otherwise they would turn on with the Parking lights. I'm not a fan of them myself.
They actually look a lot better than I would have thought looking at the pics. A bit busy for my taste too, but I think they would look better smoked. +Rep for taking the plunge and posting up for us to see. I'll be looking for the cutoff line pics too.

!Zar! was the abortion that failed. I dunno why we take his word for anything more than a noobs. Jemini...you're awesome for the write up, I would definitely do the chromes now after seeing them installed and would definitely follow suit in disabling the 3 LED's under (perhaps open up the housings grind them down, bondo and custom paint housing/turn signals??)
+rep for you though.

I just ignore what he says. I refuse to lower myself to his lever and argue back and forth.
As for the cutoff, I can't get a level shot. I realie that when I bought my car, it was in an accident and the front end was not leveled. I thought it was my stock headlights that was off but now when I put these on they are still off balanced like before. There are dials om the back for adjusting like on the stocks but I don't know which dial is the one or which way to turn it.
Anyone can chime in on this? How do I adjust the leveling? Which dial? Or do I have to do it from the rear wheel like I've heard?
any pics of the cutoff on the light?? and what does the black ones look like.. besides..
its his car and he do as he please... if you gonna buy him a pair of headlights then you'll have the right to say whatever you please. but if you're not, just keep your nasty comments to yourself please.
1. inspect headlight aim
Do the following before inspection
-make sure the body around the headlight is not deformed
-park the vehicle on a level spot
-the driver gets into the drivers seat and puts the vehicle in a state ready for driving (with a full tank)
-bounce the vehicle several times.
2.Adjust headlight in the vertical alignment
if the bubble is outside of the acceptable range of the beam angle gauge ( the bubble should be center tending right meaning it's pointing downward) adjust it using adjustimng screw A (the bolt looking one that is closer to the outside or outboard side of the car)
3 adjust headlight in horizontal alignment
if the "O" moves away from the mark beyond the acceptable range adjust the "O" back to the mark using adjustting screw B
or this is easier version
Look immediately behind and to the inside of the light assemblies themselves (regular lights and high beams). You should see protruding silver hex screws. You won't be able to see them if you are looking directly down, for they are under the top frame of the engine compartment, so try to find them by looking at an angle. They are 8mm. One of these controls up and down. The other controls left and right.
Alright hope that helps and I am waititng on the cutoffs !! Also let us know how those work so far, any leaks moists? Thanks buddy
