I dislike those headlights because they are too, "busy".
WAY too much shit goin on. Funny you people bash civic drivers for having altezza style headlights, yet you feel it's ok to try and make your car look like a bmw? hahaha. FAIL.
You can't speak for me. I do not like those headlights, I would admit if I did. I'm still waiting for pictures of light distribution. I will admit that they are ok if I can see pictures of that. I mean that is THE most important thing and he's too busy taking pictures of how the halo lights look.

Being different? There is good different, and bad different. Those headlights fall under bad. But I guess that's a difference of opinion.
I don't bash anybody for anything that they have. Doesn't matter what they drive, it's their creativity. And I never mention anything about achieving the look of a BMW. I never even mention at all 'BMW' (except for just now). Also, the reason why I took pictures of the halos and not the light output is because I need to readjust the autoleveling. I also mention that. That's gonna take some time in the dark. Let's please try to make MATURE constructive critism and leave out the foolish assumptions.
'Bad Different?' It's just lights, not a engine swap.

Halos just look cool. You will probably see the day where all cars have them. Just like tons of cars now come with the Altezza style lights. But no one runs around saying "Oh, you are trying to copy Lexus" now are they??
What you said makes a very good point. Just because they're halos doesn't mean it's a BMW imitation. To me, BMW's have halos because they want to be different and stick out form the rest of the crowd. Self-expression.

People are quick to put down anybody that dares to be different or what they have or done doesn't matches their taste. None of our cars are perfect but all of our cars are unique. So what makes this any different?

BUT.. the halos look bad and the actual housing themselves look cheap.
You can def tell they are some crystalized halo'd headlights off eBay and to me.. makes your IS look just as cheap as every ricer that buys their halo headlights off ebay for their civic/altima/impala w.e...

The Lexus LS460 has its tailpipes built into the bumper, but that concept was originated from the Bentley Continental and even in the Lamborghini's. Both had it before the Lexus LS. So according to your theory, does that make the Lexus LS 'rice'?
But doesnt the civic three up from the bottom have almost the same headlights that you said no honda person would have?
And maybe I was a little over the top with the honda pics, but those types of "overboard" mods are only typically only found on hondas.... plus they made me laugh so its all good.
