Seriously all these people with rolled fenders and such that say they have no rubbing. My car is slightly higher than all the helladouche cars and has a hella functional fitment yet after I rolled the fenders I still rub on hard corners/bumps on the fender liner...so my question is did some one send out a memo to remove that or are people modifying them some how? What am I missing here?

I removed mine when I installed my Euro fenders. I have some GS300 fender liners wiating to be installed that require some modding to fit but according to ISMAN they offer more room. But I'm still rubbing on my fenders when I go around corners too fast. I need to roll/pull them more to fit my next setup.
Yeah you pretty much reshape them with a heat gun. Have a bucket of water and a wet rag ready and wherever you see that its rubbing, heat the fender liner up until you see that its softened. Then grab your cold wet rag and push it against the part you just heated until its cooled down. Just be careful not to heat up the liner too much to the point that its melting. Hope this helps!

When I installed my Chargespeed fenders, I asked edgy what he did with his liner and he said he just cut it.
I also asked Easton and he told me he took his completely out, so that is what I ended up doing.

Went without a front bumper fora while during fitment of said bumper and the plastic rubbed the tire at high speed due to wind, so they're eaten away at one point. Wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't so obvious (due to the big mouth on the bumper)
Heat gun it or take them off completely. Wish I hadnt screwed mine up. Anyone wanna send me the ones they just "pulled off"?
Hey Albert, I can lend you mine but its kinda broken....only works on the highest setting and i think it stops working after long periods of use. Then again I did grab the cheapest thing I could find from the hardware store heh
Mine rubbed just like yours did and I have the same type of hole. I'm just ordering new and shaping them as needed. I've done it before without problems. You can also use a propane torch if you are CAREFUL!
Well I kept mine and rubbed a HELL of a lot more when they were in. I had massive burn holes toward the inside and it would pop out of the tabs if I hit them to hard. One day I hit a bump that the fender liners didn't like.
For those that don't know, the fender liner is connected all together from tire to underside of car to tire. Well, It came loose and the wheel liner and underbody liner dragged under my car from the middle of Texas til I got home in New Orleans, talk about loud scraping.
I had tried trimming it and sure it helped a little, now I roll without it and have had no problems over the past 6 months, other than the fact of me having to relocate my HID fog ballasts.
