regarding the previous posts that had to do with searching...
I almost never use the search button. I go to google type in site:my.is "whatever whatever" this way it will search for a phrase versus a several different words... my 2cent

I dont think they look bad especially if they were painted to match the car. Do i think they would last? Nope but they still dont look bad.

Hmm... just came across this thread. I do have a few points to make on those headlights, first because I went through 3 sets of CCFLs and 4 sets of inverters, and second because I have done a projector light retrofit and now i am doing the LS430 projectro retrofit. I also read quite a bit on a HID forum.

1) The inverters shown with the headlights are a step older than what AAC is shipping. How do I know this? I had those and I have the latest generation. The old ones were shtty, rings not lighting up, one dim one bright, inverters burning up, etc. The new ones work as they should, rings light up evenly.

2) The rings look like they are some of those DIY made of fiber optic. You can see the parallel marks on them. They seem to have the CCFL inside them. That won't make them brighter, just thicker and bulkier.

3) I am not sure how good those projectors work. They are probably pretty bad, reason for not having a picture of the cut off line as well.

4) The LEDs installed have no functionality at all, another reason to leading to the belief that they are made just for looks (if you like them) and not functionality.

Bottom line, I'll contact the seller to see if he can sell me just the headlight lense.

Yeah, I learned how to deal with the search tool on this site since I first wrote this post. I learned you will get different hits if you put the word "pic" vs. "pics" in the search field. Its all good now.
