what lex said, you have to be insane to buy these. you could send your headlight to AAC and have them done for less than the price of the crappy ebay product...or you could buy AAC halos and do them yourself for about 150. don't do ebay, you'll regret it
lets clear a few things up(and no i havent neg repped you)
do you honestly like the overall look of those lights?
do you think those lights look cheap and ricey? my answer is yes.
DO YOU HONESTLY THINK SOMEONE (BESIDES YOURSELF OBVIOUSLY) WOULD BUY THOSE?
If you have a problem with ebay auto parts why the hell would you even waste the money and buy them?
and dont you think if someone else purchased those lights there would already be 5 million threads about it? i do!
so in short. yes you should have searched or just look through the first couple of pages before posting. i know there was at least 2 different threads discussing the same stupid lights. i understand the search function is sometimes difficult to sort through but all and all it works quite well.
and if you love halo's go with AAC yes all products have problems, nothing is perfect but i would put my trust into justin at aac before i put my trust into some ebay seller named rice wharehouse.
So to recap. look through the first three pages instead of starting a new thread just incase it has been brought up. Let AAC do your lights or Do them yourself there is plent of write ups. And dont buy ricey shit please. our cars are beautiful lets keep them that way.
We know take you to your regularly scheduled program.
Real construtive feedback, I like it. Yeah, they do look ricey, but I wondered if anyone on here had actually seen or had a real set to see if they were somewhat salvageable. I felt like going through AAC up until I read the above posts about lights flickering and whatnot. Its to much to spend without being sure they will work right....
i understand your concern with AAC but yes some people have complained. but more people have givin them praise. i understand not wanting to spend the money due to the fact of the product not working. but thats what you'd be doing by purchasing the "ebay" lights. at least with AAC there is lots of positive feedback and not so much negative.
Justin does great work and they stand behind their product. You just never know about products on ebay especially when it comes to specific car parts like headlights. In this case, I just think you have to go with a trusted name and that's either Justin at AAC or Nick at MMSport.

and anfro, what happens if there is a problem? do you think your ebay seller will really try to help you? at least with aac or mmsport they are both active in the IS community and they will back their product up. we all dont want you to get suckered into buying a shitty product.

I have an answer for this. I fear buying things from my.is. Why? Because when I bought from the store I had to wait over a month to get a simple cupholder. I had planned on getting my joe z from them until I said screw it and paid $115 to buy it from someone on this site directly. I also seem to see people complain about wait times from SRT. IE: why I have issues about the above

thats because you bought from the store. i think lots of people have complained about orders taking forever. i also sent you a PM
Thanks for the info, the halos do look sick. There is one car on here with them, I saw it during a search the other day (imagine that!), it was dark gray and looked like he had backed it into a Circuit City loading bay while taking pics (I had the same bay when I worked there in car audio)...Anyway it had halos and was one of the nicest IS's I have ever seen. I believe he is in the Lexotic group. Sick looking IS.
I'm starting to wonder. Is it because they are 'ebay' lights that people dislike them so much. If these same exact lights were made by a name-brand company, would people like them?
