Wearever Brake Rotors?

I need new front rotors for the IS, has anyone tried the Wearever Advance auto parts brand rotors? They're like $40 each but have a 2 year warranty, just wondering if anyone could share some experience with them. My stock rotors are warped and I want to get something that will last a few years without warping.

i dont care what rotors you get, they can all warp. and if abused, they all will.

Most manufactures of brake rotors make them to work great under "normal" usage not continued abuse.

I'm not talking about abusing these brakes, i just use them for normal daily driving. Occasionally the car has to stop fast on the freeway or around town but its not a normal or repeated occurrence.

so nobody has tried these rotors? What rotors do u guys recommend?

I just recently installed a set of Baer DecelaRotors, and so far they are great. Good bite on 'em. Can't vouch for the reliability as of yet, but Baer seems to make some pretty solid products. They look great too! (Drilled & Slotted)

I cannot vouch for them however anything that is zinc plated to reduce rust in area's not contacted by the brake pad helps longevity of the rotor. Also the thicker hte rotor is hte better and make sure it is made to OEM specification. If you follow them then... you are fine regardless of the brand.

They are good not great, i work in a shop and try to aviod these rotors because many of them come warped. If you have access to some brembo OE style rotors get them, if not Beck Arnely or Wagner also make a great product.

Going to buy some rotors soon, figured I'd bump this to see if anyone had anything else to add.

Whatever you do, do not get the wearever rotors. Any rotors that cheap are only going to warp real fast causing you to have to spend more money to buy replacements. I speak from experience...

Get the wagner rotors if money is real real tight, but I strongly recommend you get some good quality rotors which will be alot more reliable. I am currently running brembo blanks and I have so far encountered no problems. I got them from Oreilly auto parts for 110 dollars each. Brembo blanks are your best alternative to factory rotors.

Do not get EBC rotors, they are really bad quality.

I've put the Wearevers on several of my cars and not had any problems. I've also used the NAPA brands as well without issue. Just keep your receipt in case you have any issues though.

Umm why not check in the vendor section? Dezod has some great deals on stoptech OE replacements with pads for $225 shipped. It doesn't get better than that.
