I had Tokico Illumina shocks and L-Tuned springs installed, one corner was making squeeky noise all the time.

Had it taken apart and fliped around the bump stop, the noise stoped.

It looks like the bump stop orientation can cause noise.

What's a bump stop?

What might be the cause if you hear noise in the rear when you brake. It's like a creaking sound, and it doesn't feel that stable. The noise is louder when I'm on a heel.

I have the same excact problem and it has suposedly done it for years and never gotton worse. Mechanics didn't find anything wrong though, but obviously there is because I hear the noise...

This crap has me stumped with my IS300. I didnt notice this untill after some hard braking at the end of a race. What it does is when you are at a dead stop and you turn the wheel a little it pops. After it pops it dont do it again unless you drive it and hit a couple of bumps. If i am going down the road and swerve left and right you can hear what ever it is popping in and out. I am running the Tein SS on my car and i took it to the dealership thinking it was one of the ball joints and they said they heard it and the ball joints and every thing was fine. Of course the said it is my springs, but it cant be because the springs dont turn when you turn the wheel.???????????????? Help Yall !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you try all of what's posted on top of this thread? Do you have sway bars? If you do, it's most likely sway bar endlinks or bushing issues.

You should add the issue about the A-ARM hitting the inside/top of the wheel well for people dumped like me. Don't think there is a fix other then making your front stiff as hell. lol.

It should be:

A-Arm hitting wheel well for lowered cars

A-ARM can hit the inside, top of the wheel well for cars that are super dumped/slammed/lowered/hammered/turfed/etc. Solution is to stiffen up the suspension (if you have coilovers) OR to raise the car.
