This.

If your really serious about this car and plan on keeping it for while do all the suspension/aesthetics first. Then boost the car. A little intake, headers and exhaust won't satiate most owners.

congrats on the new car, enjoy.

Now if we are comparing an Intake with piggyback/emu for your money to can just get any short ram intake with SAFCII or some sort and put out better numbers then SRT for less money ....

Just Intake best bang for buck any other then SRT

JoeZ best bang for $$$$

So most gains by SRT is false...

The ECU is the computer that controls everything about your car. The SRT intake requires the extra chip to adjust the MAF intake sensor settings.

If you're not sure what an ecu is, I say you go with k&n intake or Joe-z. Really good simple intakes. Best bang for the buck.

Ecu=engine control unit (brains of the car).

Recu is a lock minor adjustment piggyback to compensate for the huge intake pipe they use and is not re tune able .
There is no performance chip for our cars!

Best "Bang for the Buck" is JoeZ with a drop in filter.

Most power is an SRT w/chip.

Anything else is really just whatever

Poster, I mean poster. What have I done?

Agreed - these are the two most common options. There are tons of reviews on both on this site, so feel free to run a search for more pro's / con's.

all of them are useless if you plan on going turbo hahah

but if I had to pick, Joez with filter and then spend the rest on other more important things, namely suspension.

seems like a good price for the setup.

not really my style color choices for the hose but those can easily be replaced at any autoparts store for about $5.

also I keep hearing bad things about IS's with oil type filters, check into the dry type by AEM or AFE
