Oh nice, good shit bro. See that's why I want to learn how to weld. Can do my own work and save some money.

About a month ago I bought a used set of megan racing headers and have yet to install them.. Im having trouble finding gaskets for it. Anyone know of any good places to get gaskets for the bottom part of the header where it connects to the y-pipe?

hi.

Do you have the Megan y-pipe as well or you're using stock y??

Stock y-pipe. I've tried a few different places here in Orlando and no one seems to have it. Even called Megan Racing and they said its a special order and they won't have any till end of feb? Ordered OEM Toyota gaskets for the top part of the header soo just need the gaskets for the bottom/downpipe or ypipe

Use the stock ir OEM gasket. I've read that the stock y-pipe is weirdly shaped where the header connects and so the stock gasket will flow with it better. That plus apply some red/copper gasket maker and you should be fine. Just make sure you tighten everything well and check the bolts every once in awhile ie. During oil changes.

Soo the OEM's should be fine? Lol the guy I was talking to at Toyota the other day was giving me a hard time/telling me he doesn't think I should order it cuz it might not fit aftermarket headers. Where can I get that gasket maker from?

hi.

Yeah, I think you can read about it more in depth somewhere in this thread. Should be able to get the gasket maker at your local auto shop. I also read that if you go to an exhaust shop, they can make one for you as well.

LOL thats a lot if "buts". You should be able to. Keep the bpipe with the resonator to help with sound a bit. Why not go with something that has a lil more restriction to reduce sound?
