High flow cats still throw codes? Wouldnt that kinda make them pointless, or do they still do their job, and if they do why the code?

Did you ever throw an engine light with these headers?

Has anyone measured the the runners compared to stock?
Cats don't really restrict exhaust flow guys.
If you ran these over the eBay headers the plus side would be no CEL since you can't find o2 sims anymore.

Since the prior link to the Magnaflow product is broken, here's the current one:
MagnaFlow Catalytic Converters - 49-STATE & CANADA Catalytic Converters For Trucks, Suv's, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles

or the ODBII "compliant" one:
http://www.magnaflow.com/02catalytic...irectfit=49283

Or --- magnaflow's CURRENT Link:
http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...S300&year=2005

I never did figure out what the real difference was between A & B, so I just ordered A. Hoping to have it installed soon

i have this header, I approve it

Nice parts dont make a nice car, paying to have pros do every little thing and never touching it yourself or driving it does.

I got mine off of Amazon; although I went with the less expensive option.
By whatever situation in manufacturing, I am in the process of exchanging it for a new one.

The shop I brought it into for installation noted the angle of the faces up to the cylinder head are wayyy off. Hopefully the seller's not going to give me the run around.

I tried to install it myself, but to my dismay, the stock Y-pipe's bolts had essentially fused to the faces from rust/heat/etc. (Hooray, Minnesota winters).

EDIT: Got everything worked out, and the header installed.

I'm baffled. Your piping looks the same as mine, but the piping coloration is far brighter.

Did you buy the Cali CARB legal model or 49state?

Did you notice any oddities in the angle at which the header meets the exhaust ports or was it *perfectly* flush?

It's a Cali thing. You pay more money for a header that doesn't make as much power as a mazurri, but you can pass smog and tell cops to fuck off. Well maybe that harsh. You can get out of a ticket though.
