your car would throw codes for the catalytic converters not working and the check engine light would be on. If that isn't annoying itself, depending on your state you very likely wouldn't pass emissions testing.

Have a question? Try the my.is FAQ or, if you can't find an answer there, search before posting your question (hopefully in the correct forum).

So it will run perfectly fine, just the check engine light?

Compensation for low range torque loss?

This is such great info!!! Thank you so much!

1. I have an SRT intake w/ECU, and I know this will increase my torque at higher RPMs. However, I have also found that it will decrease my torque at lower RPM's (Below 4500.) My question is: Is there a way to gain back my lower range torque without sacrificing my higher end gains?
I have been advised to install cams, torque converters, new headers, exhausts, etc. All I want is something that will put the car back to, or exceed its stock acceleration power. (I miss that "oomph" at the stoplights)
I have heard great things about the Joe Z intake w/ a drop in blitz filter. (But I cannot find any JoeZ's for sale)

Currently my IS is stock with exception to the SRT intake.

Thanks so much!
