Supra owner here, my car is w58+2jzge+LSD combo. I came to here ask few question about modding ge and staying in n/a. I know that is300 engine is a vvt-i one and my isn't but anyway..

Parts what i already have but not installed:
- AEM v2 stand alone ecu
- some made in japan exhaust header with 1st decat
- HKS cat back

What i'm thinking to get:
- BC "stage1" camshafts for 2jzge non-vvt-i BrianCrower.com | RunBC.com // Toyota // 2JZGTE
- adjustable cam gears
- lightweight pulley kit
- send fuel injectors for cleaning/rebuilding

I'm thinking to do a compression test and base dyno run at first. If everything is OK i will start modding. However, what you guys think? Have i forget something important? If the engine is not good, i will rebuild the whole engine with head work and so on, but i hope that everything is OK. At least it still feels pulling quite strong....

I saw one is300 with similar kind of mods to get 251whp in here:

Is it possible to get that much with mods what i have planning or am i just dreaming?
You forgot to do the 80mm throttle body upgrade. Plus you can do a few little things too. Just depends on how much you want to spend and do.

Yes, i forgot that.. it seems that Supra's engine TB is bigger than what is in is300. Still it's not a 80 mm tho but it is like 68-75mm or so. I have to think about this, in is300 there seems to be nice gains.

What else did you have in your mind?

Sorry my bad english. I already have a bigger TB than is300 has, so i don't know how much an improvement would 80mm TB actually be.

Anything else i could do?

Compression port & polish. Flow bench work for the cam and rpm range you are going to run. Gearing' Bigger valves, Lighting of car and rotating assembly. It is a pretty standard formula for any engine and car build. Like I said. It is a matter of what you want to spend and how much work you want to do. There is tons of stuff to do. It is a matter if it is worth it to you. No matter the gain 1+1=2 and that is more than you had before.
