Well, it`s December. Wisconsin winter is coming. Greens are still perfect. I was running a straight pipe for a couple of months. Then, date nights with my wife were not as nice as having a muffler. So, I had a custom 11235 Magnaflow installed along with my stock Sport Design tip.. I like the sound below 4k rpm but I totally miss having the screaming sound up high from the straight pipe. Also, it had a more pull up high with the straight pipe. I can tell it now has less flow up high. Feels restricted now. But the interior sounds below 45k are very appealing. I do not like the Magnaflow sound up above 45k.

Anybody have a recommendation on having a nice thick chocolaty interior sound but also less restriction up high?

You should get something that is 2.5 inch tubing from the headers all the way back would be my guess. That muffler you chose is only 2.25 inches.

the Dezod green headers include a Dezod y-pipe. The y-pipe`s outlet size IS 2.5". I had Lexus install the headers. They must have used a reducer where the y-pipe attaches to the resonator.

But anyway. would .25" make that much difference in less restriction of the Magnaflow muffler, ect?

It's around 20 percent less flow/area. 4.43 vs 5.41 inches squared.

From what I'm seeing and personal preference I'd go with the greens. I'm a big believer in my f it cost cheap it might be made cheap. So if i can save up and get better quality i will.
