cost of 2jz-gte swap

hey guys..

i was wondering how much it would cost to swap the turbo 2jz in the is300..

lets just say i have the car...

so how much would it cost to purchase the engin new, and swap it in fully funtional.. ready to drive home and upgrade.

phr does it for 20k. not worth it imo, just get a good turbo kit.

some shop quoted me for 1.5k for the labor which i can get the complete motor for 3k....so that adds up about 4.5k.....

id check around with other shops too, i know of a shop dat might do it for ya, but im not sure, but he does good work, PM for details, if ya want, its over in Garden Grove

yeah thanks for the help, i have a good shop doing it for me if i need it (SP Engineering) www.sp-power.com . but i am just not sure about it right now.

AltEzZa_S4 - Do the 2JZ-GTE swap on your car now!!! If SP can do it for that cheap, I'd say go for it. BTW, how long does it take to do the motor and tranny swap? And is it the getrag tranny?
