This mount is typical to the the E340A model transmission but may fit others. The 8mm stud bolt pattern is 1.58" x 2.57", (40mm x 65mm), the through bolt holes are 1.18" x 2.36", (30mm x 60mm).
I already was looking into them. Yes, they will bolt in. The only difference is the mount from the factory is 1.5 in height and the Xcessive is 1.9 inches. I do not think it will put too much pinion angle in. But I still plan on making a new cross member with a little more drop in it.
No idea. I ordered it through Driftmotion.com and will be fulfilled by xcessivemanufacturing.com. I plan on emailing Xcessive today about it. Trust me I'm getting antsy. I'm tired of my torn trans mount clunking.........
TPaws0 FYI. Make sure your motor mounts are good. Otherwise you will put a lot of stress on the transmission case. If you have stock motor mounts I would suggest the 65 durometer.
Yeah I've been thinking of that. Maybe I'll wait till I get some hard rubber Megan Racing mounts or the ones from the the Supra Store. They are the same rating (70A Durometer)
Yeah I know. I've ridden in a car with Poly engine mounts and its a little harsh for this point in the cars life. Maybe in the future. Once I dont have to use the car as a daily then I will.
Finally got around to installing the mount and uninstalled it. lol. Was way to harsh. I also installed the Megan Racing engine mounts. So if you are interested in buying the transmission mount from me, send me a PM. I only put about 3 miles on the mount. So no low balls.
This design flaw should be brought to the companies attention. It shouldn't have to modified to work if its made for our tranny.
