Hi, I was told that Dale with Shinkai posts here often. He did a JDM group buy back in July for us at the legend forums. It has been more than a semester for me in college!!!!!!! and only one person that nobody knows of has supposedly received their product(s)...I fortunately got my money back before Dale changed his Paypal account so people cannot get there money back from him.

He hasn't been updating us how he should be(maybe b/c there is no products to update

As you'll see on one, Dale told us that the goods were in port in Seattle but taking a long time through customs(he used WTC Attacks as excuse, which is reasonable, but read on), then he tells us something like he didn't buy the JDM parts b/c they weren't as nice as he expected....Don't those two statements contradict themselves???????

Has anyone had good or bad experiences with him? Please post....Thanks.

I bought some stuff from him that was on back order. When he got the product it was shipped to me. No problems here.

he seems like a nice guy but slow.. i took him about 2 weeks to reply back with the quote.. maybe he's just really busy.

Dale has been in contact personally with every outstanding customer. He is solely responsible for clearing the accounts and is in the process of doing so. I suggest you contact him directly if you still have an issue with him and his old company. This is not the place to air your dirty laundry. This would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have issue's with him personally anymore b/c I have my money back but I am looking out for my friends. It's obvious to me that he hasn't been in contact with each customer personally b/c many are still posting threads asking where their products are and how come they havn't had any updates. In my post I simply asked for some of yalls experiences with him, Mark if you have a problem with that, I'm sorry bud, thats life. The fact is he hasn't been updating us at all and I wasn't airing out my dirty laundry, just telling yall what has happened. As a businessman, Dale has to expect this to happen with updates every two months that tell us a different date that we'll get our products. He must not know how to do business IMO. He's made a crappy reputation so far.

Hello. This is Dale. I am alive and well and currently living in Japan. I got here on 3 December, and have been living out of my suitcase ever since. My only contact with the world outside Japan via electronic means is through a public computer. I'm still waiting on my house to get through with renovations and for my household goods to arrive so that I can get back on my feet to finish business that isn't done. I told folks 2-3 months in advance that I was moving to Japan, and I am going to be here indefinitely. I did not fall off the face of the earth, and this post is to let you know that I have started making contact right after Christmas with folks with info I had on hand. I asked folks who belong to the Legend forum who I have been able to contact to please pass on my e-mail address hcr32gtstdale@hotmail.com so that I can start communications again.

OK, so there we go on where I am at. I've got nothing to hide here, and I know where I stand, and that is currently in the bottom of the crapper.

Mark and the staff at SKR Performance earned a bad rep because of my poor conduct. My stance is to clear the air on all outstanding obligations and inform folks that SKR and the staff are helping me. Lesson in life and lesson in business. I am pretty ashamed of my conduct, but I need to face it head on, deal with the issues diligently and put it behind me once everybody is satisfied.

92legend, since I was able to take care of your issue before I left for Japan, what do you have to gain by coming to a forum for which you have no interest? If you had friends here that I ripped off, don't you think they would have screamed by now on their own? I just have to ask. I expect this and am willing to deal with each. As far as you're concerned, I'm lower than whale-crap on the heirarchy, and I deserve to be dumped on.

That is a complete lie posted by you. So, does stretching the truth about a liar and a potential thief make it OK in your book or anyone elses for that matter?

I promise you 92Legend and everybody else, after it is all done with, you will never hear from my sorry ass again on any forum.

Sorry Mark, again I apologize for getting you and the rest caught up in this dilemma, and I appreciate your efforts in helping me get through this. I'm off to the Legend board.

From a consumer point of view I've only had the best treatment from Dale @ SKR as well as Mark....These problems you speak of obviously exist but Dale is being man enough and doing the right thing by taking care of everything.....I also feel coming here to put him down is the wrong thing to do....On the Legend forums is where you should be doing this, only after trying everyway possible to contact him outside of the forums(Also I can almost bet you found out about Dale through Mark so why not see if he could help)......Anyway I would just like to re-iterate that in my opinion SKR is where to go for JDM products and if you give them a chance you will see they are a great business to deal with....It's not hard to realize these parts don't come from around the corner....Be patient it pays off

I also have dealt with SKR and Dale in the past and I have had great service from Dale and SKR.... hell dale even help me put in parts in my car for 3 hours that I did not even buy from him... but he offered to help and get dirty.. that may not make up for some misunderstandings that have happend to others but he is a good man and now a good friend..

hey dale, havent dealt with you personally, and ive tried to make contat with you many times during your transition to japan, but have failed mainly to your busy schedule. that is not your fault. i know of many friends (brian, dan, etc) that were satisfied with your business practices. we're more than glad to have your on this board.

Guys-

I was able to get back on. I hate having to do things by public computer, but it is better than nothing for the time being.

From here on out, what you're going to be getting from me is the truth or nothing at all. This is my pact with all members, both old and new who may have dealt with me or not. Right along with the truth, I will be as helpful as I can and be a good person, for my sake and especially for Mark and the staff at SKR Performance's sake. Mark, I am just damn grateful to have you as both my friend and my brother, and that goes for Tony and Elliot, as well. Everyone else, I am just counting my blessings to have people like you all to help me get through this monster I created, and you all provide me the motivation to keep pushing.

On a note of what's been going on here, so so so so so so so sooooooooo much stuff to be had, and I am working hard to provide SKR Performance with more business contacts/arrangements in order to allow SKR to provide those goods you've all just heard about. So far, we've witnessed Dan T.'s super smooth Wise Sports kitted IS300 along with his ADVAN Kreuzer Series V come into being, Brian get his Work wheels and shortly, his Egoist front bumper spoiler right along with Mark's rear over fenders, and a host of others get some great stuff from here through Mark and the folks' hard work. A lot more to come from NJ. Tri-Sate area representin'! You know, I have never lived there, but it is really the only place I have ever felt comfortable outside of Japan. This is not a slam on others from outside. Just that fate, and I am a firm believer in it, just does some weird turns best left unexplained. Whatever it was, fate brought me to NJ.
