Well boo the naysayers, props for trying something different. (for instance my car is satin black and everybody freaked).

I don't know if i would have done it to a new car but i would like to see what the long term is. How does it hold up after washing, rock chips etc, does it dis-color to a yellow tint over time. How hard is it to apply etc with a heat gun instructions etc? I am sure the door handle was prob a bitch?

The car is looking better then I was expecting, but yeah, I always prefer the painted CF look. Either way it's turning out pretty good.

ya ull gona have to remove the door handles and the side mirrors, its not going to discolor or anything until 6 years down the road, the main reason i did it was to protect my paint, the look was secondary, i originally wanted to go with satin black vinyl but i was kinda plain, wouldve looked like this Satin Black Vinyl Wrap? - MY350Z.COM Forums
but when i saw the 3M carbon fiber wrap, i decided to go with that instead, it looks amazing during the day and even better at night

Please post a detail on cost and labor hours. I know you were flying solo, but people should see what you did to get the look.
