Do not de-badge "IS250" - my.IS

I removed the "I" fine, but the "S" is stuck to the car with both sticky tape and a peg. Therefore, there is a hole behind the "S". Just passing along this information.

Good looking out. Looks like Lexus doesn't want posers around, Here are a few posers I have seen...

Audi A4 with an S4 badge... too bad the side skirts were not S4, neither was the grill
SL500 with SL55 badging... Good attempt, even had the //amg rear bumper, quad exhausts, and taillights, but was lacking the BBKs on all 4 corners, and had the SL500 front bumper.
S500 on a S320... Yea, this guy was middle eastern... The S320 is about 8" shorter than a 500, but he was trying to pull it off like it was a 500.

I've seen more. This seems to be a growing trend in the valley.

Well, debadging does not necessarilly qualifies as a poser. Some prefer the clean "no badge" look just like SilentAttack. Now, if an IS250 debadge and replace it with IS350 - or - as Flatine stated...A4 debadging it to S4 -- that's a different story.

Good lookin` out for the new IS owners....

No problem just get the hole patched. My mom's RX300 had that spoiler wing thingy on the back and the dealer took it off and patched the holes up....looks great.

I think someone mentioned that a little earlier. If it came down to it I would be more inclined to debadge lower model cars. I see a few 525i's debadges. Commoners might not be able to tell but an aficionado can tell.

Didn't know they rivet that badge now, ick.

I like the de-badged look. I took all the badges off my wife's Sequoia (V8, etc). Looks much nicer. On my IS, only the center rear L emblem is still there.

Now, re-badging, that's different. On my Miata, I put the 1.8T badge from the VW (Passat?).

IMO, Debadged is hot. I have debadged pretty much every car i had
including the Lex (except for the rear L). I like the clean look.

i don't mind people who rip of their decals for the more "clean look."

i hate it when people rebadge cars to be ones they are not...ex/ changing a4 to s4 badges.
