New IS200t

Gee, I thought that there would be some excitement/speculation on the 2016 IS200t. Specs are claiming performance nicely between the old IS250 and IS350 - and with better gas mileage than the IS250.

Maybe we need some members to buy a couple of them and report back to us.

The older I get, the better I was.

Im going to wait a couple years before picking up the 200t. Just the info i read, it seems that there will be improvement the 2nd production year and possibly manual in the not so distant future. (Wishful thinking here)

Among the first 'turner' mods will be ditching the faux dual exhausts for a single stainless 'coffee can' catback system set at a jaunty angle.

I wouldn't do that.....the stock tune is for that exhaust and the width of the exhaust. Changing it out to a wider piping exhaust without a proper tune might make your car run like crap. With the sophisticated ECU the IS200T will have, tuning at this standpoint might be impossible without changing out the ECU to an aftermarket one. This isn't some cheap honda that you can chip and tune the ECU.

Totally agree with you. But, you know, someone's gonna do it one day.
