Hi guys I got my Hx35 mocked up today on the manifold.

Since the HX35 is a T3 housing I used this adapter plate I got off ebay for like 50 bucks.

Hopefully the next update will be me installing my r154 clutch and transmission and stabbing it back in!

TY guys I can't wait to show you more!

Small update got the turbo drain finished up.

All -10 AN fittings and hoses.

Tried to mock up the turbo oil feed line, but the fittings that I got are a different thread pitch than the oil pressure sensor.
Hopefully I can find the right ones at Fastenal tommorrow

Awesome build so far! I have a couple questions for you since something will be done to mine in the near future. What manifold is that? trying to find one myself. And I am assuming you are piecing this kit together? It'd be really valuable info if you were to see the pieces come together instead of getting a kit.

Last update before bed, Home Depot came in clutch with the fittings that I needed!

1/8 npt male to male

4 way 1/8 npt fitting

1/8 npt stud

and some thread tape

The oil feed line which is 1/8 npt on one end and i believe 4AN on the other.
now I just have to adapt the feed line to the turbo and I'm all set!

It is just the ebay manifold for the is300. I welded on some extra braces and cleaned up the flack on the inside of the collector. The build is mostly "budget" oriented, I am buying a lot of stuff either used or just making something work. I actually got the turbo off of a giant Cummins tractor engine with 2 hours on it, lol. All I can say is take the info on other threads and other builds and use it, but don't think that its the bible. This is just my build and posting pics and updates motivates me to get it finished, let me know when you get started!

Clutch Pedal Assembled I think?

Hey guys I got done assembling my clutch pedal today. My problem is that the pedal feels like an on/off switch, it either is sprung forward or as you press it it snaps to fully depressed.

Is this normal when it is outside of the vehicle? The master cylinder isn't applying pressure to the pedal.

Sounds normal to me. When I had my Talon before, my clutch fork broke and when I pressed the clutch in, the pedal would just stay to the floor. Once I replaced the fork, the pedal worked normal. Hopefully yours will do the same once installed.

Yeah, you're good. My clutch pedal did the same after I assembled it.

by the way, did that base map come through?

Flywheel and 1jz bellhousing installed

Hey people, more updates today.

Got my lightweight flywheel installed. Using new ARP flywheel bolts torqued to 61 ftlbs.

Got my old 7mgte bellhousing off and installed the 1jz bellhousing

Also mocked up my clutch, I went with a clutch masters 6 puck and an ACT pressure plate.

P.S. That throwout bearing is a PITA without the right tools to put the snap rings in. That took longer than anything else!

I should mate the two together tomorrow.
