Should I wait 30 days before mounting my rear lip with double-sided tape? I don't want to mess up my paint by not letting it cure properly.
I would definitely wait. It may peel if you put on the double sided tape now.

I had a feeling I would have to wait.

Don't worry, I already told Fig that I would take a solid black version. Here's a pic, but I need to apply new tape. Like I said, it's not perfect, but with the aid of tinted windows and a sun screen, it looks OK. If you weren't familiar with the car, you probably wouldn't notice while "window shopping".

Just got my FIGS heatshield. I'll try to replace these with some better pictures when I have better lighting.

Thanks. The front just got repaired, and I'm not mounting the replacement Carson rear until I clear bra the front next month.

The front TRD (rep) lip just got repaired, and is waiting for clear bra before it gets mounted. The original Carson rear got sold, but I bought & painted a replacement Carson rear lip. VS-XX's will be back in 3-4 weeks.

Thanks guys. I'm hoping to have everything back in order by the 19th when I take my car in for another clear bra. It's funny, I saw the guy who I sold my OEM graphites to at a local meet. As soon as I saw my old wheels, I started to miss them lol. They were so damned clean when I sold them.

It's really easy. You don't even have to remove your intake or STB. Here are a couple pics I took.

Loosen the rear bolt, and slide the shield in place

Front mounting point (bolt provided).

The thing is stiff and I get ZERO rattle. I'm glad that I passed on the PLP. The only drawback that I can see is for CA people. Due to the design, it won't hide your aftermarket headers. Fig can also customize the shield's shape to your needs. I know he is working on a Mazzuri(sp?) version. In terms of it's intended purpose, it gets the job done.
