Thanks for all your kind words; I appreciate them. I wasn't quite sure which direction I was going to go with my car's look when I started. At first I was going for a typical clean classy look, but after getting the Work wheels, I had to take a slight detour. As you can see in the pics below, the old wheels flowed with the headlights and grill. In my mind, the darker VS-XX, broke that momentum. I ended up smoking my heads, fogs, and side markers as well as switching to the 2003 SD grill for a slightly more aggressive look. As of right now, I'm very happy with the way my car looks.
There are only a couple things I've been thinking about changing. One is switching the trunk lip to RMM or TRD, but I don't want to have visible holes, and I don't want fill and repaint the trunk lid. The other is painting the headlights, fogs, and side markers satin black (with a chrome ring around the projectors). While I am considering these changes, I've got other priorities to deal with first.
When my buddy gave me the RC body, I knew I would be custom fabbing a replica of my car. The finishing touch would be a scratch-built dash, but I way to unmotivated for that project. Here's the one I made for my Supra body...when I was still really into the hobby.
Alfa: The grill was sold with both emblems when I got the SD grill
Dexlex: As nice as a turbo kit sounds, it probably won't happen...at least until I move out of Cali...which may never happen.
I'll return as much rep as I can until I have to reload.
