Well I have fixed drain pipe now on to fixing ignition issues and getting someone to return the car cause fasking performance won't answer calls or emails. Picked up some LQ9 coils today from salvage yard today.

Well I am pissed off now. Fasking Performance is no longer tuning due to not having enough time with a new job.

This puts me in a bind cause I had the car tuned best could with how it was running and wanting to finish the tune but now that is not happening so now have to fork the money over again for someone else to finish tuning it.

I will say that I bought the tune through MVP motorsports and they sent it on to there tuner which was Fasking Performance if I knew it would be a in and out tune and closes shop I would have never gotten it. So I will never buy another thing from MVP Motorsports.

So can anyone point me to a tuner foe email tunes at decent price just need to adjust for the ignition fixed and the new turbo?

Well I have ordered the Tomei Turbo Outlet and it will be here Tuesday of next week. I have installed the LQ9 coils and have it running now correctly.

The car loves the new turbo but once gets to 15psi it hits boost cut cause that is where we had it set when tuned it jumps to it quickly lol.

Waiting on suprastore.com to get back to me about tuning the car through email hopefully get it done soon.

The track that those runs are on is a test and tune. There is no times it is 1/8th mile more like street racing but actually on private property.

I am working on finding someone to tune the car locally if not will be hauled down to dallas and tuned. I think this time no more email tune will just be put on a dyno this time cause fasking performance didnt do the VVTi tuning and half way did the tune cause ran into problems then now he has stopped tuning and wont help me so.

I am using a Tontec 7" touchscreen with a rasperry pi attached to it. We are writing a program to gather the RS232 data from the serial on the AEM and output on the Tontec Display. You will have drop downs to change the data you want to see. Once I am completed with it will share the knowledge. We have ran into issue of it not updating real time takes it a second to catch up.

Really was irritated this day at the track. Wish i would have recorded videos from the night time races and the car i was having no problems launching but it was getting to much and then getting horrible wheel hop when i tried to spin little out the box.

Updates I have installed the Tomei Expreme Turbo Outlet. I received good news today that ELITEJDM has received 3 more Tomei PonCams so I will be ordering them.

Spoke to a local tuner today that turned me down on the IS300 because he was unsure he would be able to tune the car before I explained to him that it is running now and everything going on and they are now working on 2 - S14's with 2jzgte non-vvti.

I spoke to Nick D’Alessio over at Elite | JDM and went over what we are looking for and what he is running in his drift car 1jzgte VVTi. I will be running all the same parts except for the headgasket till we need it. They are running 29psi on the Tomei turbo and put down 505RWHP. I am going for 24psi on the Tomei.

Also ordering some Deatschwerks direct drop injectors from Elite | JDM that he had made for his car and will order a set as well.

Hopefully by the end of January the car will be tuned and on the road again and start cleaning up the look of the car next.

Alright well I have solved this and finally have the IACV working on a AEM v2 30-6050 box. I was reading some posts about wiring up the 2jz IACV to the haltech ecu and that people had to remove the pins 2 and 5 from the IACV which are 12v+ wires. So I went and tried it on the car thinking no way it would work with out the 12v+ wires disconnected. Believe it or not now it works no problem.

BTW ISC is my IACV

Here is the IACV pins and you wiring them the same way as they are on the wiring diagram below to the AEM



AEM settings I am using.




Wiring Layout to the AEM v2 30-6050 ISC is my IACV and the order 1-4 is the same order as the 1-4 on the IACV
