awesome build man, brings back memories. Im so glad you molded the gauges to the vent. I did the same thing, it just looks so much cleaner and professional to me. I think that the one I started with was also from a WRX.

Yes, custom fab'd by Mike, he did a great job, I doubted it would even fit, but he made it happen haha.

I'm in Richmond, and no not a shop. All of the work so far has been at my buddy Mike's home garage. Him and Chris have done pretty much all of the work and I was just there learning and watching for the most part lol. I'm shooting for about 500WHP when said and done.

Some picture updates! I'll just post them as they occurred in time -

Mike told me to get this billet specialties overflow tank and it's awesome, looks and feels great. He mounted it onto the fan shroud, came out very clean

New fortune Auto suspension! Running Fortune Auto 500 series dampers, Swift spring upgrade, Muller air cups for front AND rear, Viair air compressor, Viair air tank.

AGAIN, THESE ARE NOT AIR BAGS!!

Muller Air Cup IS300 - Fortune Auto North America

So we were mocking everything up to see how it will all go and what the best way to make everything as efficient and aesthetic as possible. This is the layout we came up with with the ARC air box, catch can, etc. Mike and Chris make an awesome team, I thought it came out looking awesome.

Fresh filters - overnight parts from Japan. :|

Got the cover painted by Jaysfab in Ferrari Azzurro Blu to match the big brake kit

Pic of the Rotora BBK before install -

Had to make custom brackets to make it fit on the IS, Matt used the mill at FAST to fab me up something

Installed!

Purchased a Personal steering wheel in suede to match the rest of the interior

Installed with Dressupbolts titanium purple bolts, NRG hub and NRG quick release

Here's Chris and Matt fabbing up the shortened downpipe and the rest of the exhaust, most of it is temporary, currently has Mike's HKS rear he had laying around.

Car's loaded up to take to Matt at FAST for some aero enhancements and suspension installation

Haha I think you jinxed me! Possibility of the rear cups not fitting due to clearance for the cup. As of now the two options would be to cut up the rear strut towers and have them welded up and extended OR completely get rid of them and only run front cups

Alright so some more updates from today at FAST. Matt pulled the car in to check everything out and get everything sorted for what's to come. Pulled the rear bumper off to see what's underneath.

How it came in -

How it was when I left lol
