There's only one elderly member here... So which one is it?

I've owned plenty of modified cars, tasteful ones... Don't get me wrong, it would be badass to have a 6 spd supra swap that was quiet as stock... I paid cash for the car and I have more than enough financial means/skills to actually do it but I've already been there and done that. The next 'fast' car I buy will be paid for with cash, and fast from the showroom. Time/money is more valuable to me than worrying if all the local ricer idiots think I'm cool... I laugh at you fools when I see you drive by.

BTW, I think your car is ugly as balls with those wheels and that lip.
He must work in construction. I hear they make greater than $10 per hour.

wow. did you take the internet dooshbag course at your local college? you bragged about your weak wallet game, bragged about all these awesome cars you had in the past, and then insulted a well known and respected board member. could you be any more cliche?and bragging about your wallet and making a thread about your brand new $2800 is300 is pretty much a contradiction.

- rep just cause you are annoying me.

You purchased a lot of stuff, process is coming along great. A little elbow grease and dedication I can see this being a great drift car. GL

Bragging about paying cash for a $7k car on a Lexus forum is epic fail. A lot of us paid cash for our cars. lol. I'm actually in the middle of closing on a house, perhaps you could PM me with some more of your amazing financial insight. With all this paying-for-stuff-cash, I bet your credit rocks.

BTW, I'd make fun of your car but you don't even own a Lexus. So I'll just make fun of that instead. Have fun at the gas station. Feel free to send us pics of all your plenty of tastefully modified cars...

Gladly.

You already know I'm more than anxious to see this build. Did you ever talk to a guy about the cage/frame stiffening?

harsh words dood, my lexus is bone stock except for the painted rims and the stainless steel brake lines it will get at the end of the summer..maybe some of us like our is300 bone stock or just choose aesthetic mods?

saying someone is a pussy b/c they choose not to spend their life savings on a car is ignorant. i could have a built & boosted IS but why dedicate my life to a car when theres so much other cooler stuff out there? jebus..then again the "modded car" crowd was never known for being financial wise..theres plenty of 17-29 year olds who make 12 bucks an hour, live at home and think they are ballers b/c of the car they drive, lool.

to the OP: if you arent rotary swapping..what are your plans for the car now?

oh calm down... that was a dig at butternuts, not the IS community. Stock is fine, but modded is way cooler... it's just opinion that's all...

And really it was meant for the stupid noob. No harm intended.
