Update, still at it!

Its been a while.....car parts take a lifetime coming from the motherland

i had to sell the cluster to pay for some looooong overdue bills...im pretty upset about that....i really liked that cluster. Went to a good home though so that makes it better i guess

anyways..no major updates aside from removing the "Lexus" and "IS300" emblems....also went sanded my headlights (came out decent i think). Andy i agree man i want some VS-KFs <3 and thanks Chadford it cleans up

Im toying with the idea of getting some Ganadors....well see.

Picked up some dark chrome tails

Top Satin, Bottom "Dark" chrome

dreaming of blue reflector headlights -_-

More Euro goodness until i get mine

and still eagerly awaiting my rear bumper with lip

should be shipping soon now since everything is paid off and in the US. Cant wait! Stick around!

Talking about the front? Front ends interchange, as for the rear, the L-Sportline bumper looks almost the same, except for those rear reflectors or fogs in the "vents"

will it fit? or is it available? i dunno what youre asking lol. i would venture to say that im one of the very few to have this bumper....there were two others for sale on here three years ago but they disappeared into the abyss.

The bumper is a factory optioned bumper for the Altezza Gita. i rarely ever stumble on pics of said cars with the kit on it, so i take it its hard to come by even in Japan. Will it fit? yes...provided you can find someone willing to find one

Update! Possible dilemma

Hey guys, nothing new has been going on, just that the bumpers/tails have shipped

now for my dilemma,

Sell the Euro front, and put a down payment on some VS-KFs

or

Keep the Euro, and i guess not buy rims?

hm...

more good news, my younger brother will be leaving for college, so hes gonna let me use his truck for this winter! the Lex will be able to stay garaged this winter

thats it for now! dont know what to do...i really REALLY want those wheels lol...

Not judging, but it seems like you can't really afford what you want to do. Selling parts off your car to pay for bills, then you want to sell what you've bought as a down payment. It seems like you need to sit down and budget yourself and see if you should (or can).

Once again, not judging as I've put lots of parts on credit when I couldn't really afford it in the past, just speaking from experience.

Hey man no harm no foul....its always good to get other opinions. The SRT intake i sold was a bummer, hindsight 50/50 i really diddnt have to sell it. The cluster? It was probably a good idea to sell it since the police around me are extremely anal with exact speeds so its good to have MPH, so whatever. As for the Euro bumper, i was on the fence with getting it to begin with. I REALLY dont need two front bumper, the only reason i bought it was because it was there, so why not. I have been throwing money into a repair and saving fund, so i have been budgeting. But you are correct lol....once the mod bug bites it bites hard lol. Well see, the euro isnt even here yet so we shall see when it gets here. Thanks for the input!

Yeah, I had 3 Supras at once, and none of them were stock. I went through 7 engines for various reasons, but once you feel boost for the first time, it's hard to stop.

Christmas in July :)

Well, after much waiting and anxiety, i finally got my bumpers!

Diddnt wait for trucking since i only had limited time this week so a friend of mine and myself picked up the box at the shipping terminal. Awesome! Drove home, got everything unloaded. So pumped. However, it was unbelievably hot and humid that day so it made working on it almost unbearable....still i pushed through. Mid way through my 10mm socket disappeared into my car so i was PISSED...had the car disassembled and now no way of putting it back together again

Then, it rained. HARD. Found a rusty crappy socket set in the shed and Still pushed on, in the garage with my girlfriends help. I gave up right before nightfall and i left the wagon in the garage. Today was much nicer out, cooler and no rain so i got 95% of everything done, just need to screw in 4 more bolts in the fender wells.

Anyways, enough talk! The Euro bumper, Dark Metallic tail lights, and the JDM rear with lip (also bought the OEM muffler extension so everything lines up

pushing through in the garage...

right before i called it quits for the night..terrible weather!

The money shot: Euro, Tails and rear. im in love

Thats all for now, whats in store next i have no idea...i may recoup for a month or so to get some savings and fix what needs to be fixed but there will be plenty more Gita goodness soon enough. Cheers everyone!

More pics/parts....

so...

i sold my stock chrome tails, budgeted some repairs and had some money to save. and i had some left over! So i scored a JDM TRD Sport air filter and a Joe-Z intake! small changes make the biggest differences. had some errands to run yesterday so i snapped some pics....also snapped a few on one of my many late night drives. Cheers!

(I love TRD )
