fantastic work. I just read the build from start to finish. I'll be doing the same soon to my Is200 and will be seeing some track time as well. However I will need to keep all the lexus goodies if I am to keep it street legal. Top job!! hope you don't mind me pming you when the time comes.

You just need to turn the throttle cable assembly about 45 degree to convert to full mechanical operation.
(But like I stated above, ECU will start to learn the TPS error)
true... PFC is rather basic in terms of functionality... and it needs datalogit to make it easier to tune... i personally run PFC on my 3sge cos i'm too scared to sort out the wires... let us know your result, and maybe you will be setting a new trend for 3sge tuning soon...
i tried rotating the throttle assembly 45 degree and yes TPS doesn't like it... i've been trying to get round this but no luck tho... fortunately, there is a function in PFC where i can set the throttle response, so it makes the response slightly more linear... if AEM also has this function, then it would be real nice...

yeah thats the issue with power FC or a lot of the jap aftermarket ECU. Most of them are designed to be used as a back up. I've spoken to a few Australian tuners and most are directing me in the direction of a Haltec 1000 since the 3S are just a 4 cylinder. They are around 1800AUD and are a complete stand alone unit. You can then just use your OEM ecu for the ancillaries.

@ MotorKlasse, seeing how you kept the IS200 cluster does it still work? and also would you recommend swapping over the RS200 steering rack? I have a complete car so I can swap over absolutely everything if necessary, however my cars are RHD so I may not have the issue you have with the steering.

Yes the stock cluster works(only basic info like RPM and VSS), but we are using aftermarket 10Hz GPS gauge(BROS Laptor R1).

From what I remember RS200 did have quicker steering ratio, so it would be good idea to use RS200 steering rack as long as you can keep the power steering.

Basic tune is already done.
AEM EMS-4 is fully running without stock ECU at all. Also controls A/C and etc.

Throttle response is MUCH sharper than before, and it will get only better once I start to tune the Dual VVT-i.

that's great to hear... so there is no need for the stock ECU to take care of all the ancillaries... how did the wiring work out for you?

interesting? However I'm assuming you would still need the standard ECU to run things like airbags and what not which in your case you don't need. Dyno figures would be awesome!

The wiring has been already done, currently already working on the white IS200.

FYI, ECU doesn't have control on the airbags.
Most of the time, you can get away with 8 output/input that AEM EMS-4 offer.

Will prepare the dyno figures. Gotta finish tuning the VVT-i.

Because I just re-finished the stock fender, I thought I should post some pictures.
My IS is running 17x9 ET35 all around with 255/40/17 front and rear.
No spacers or anything.
17x9 ET35 clears the inner suspension without any mods.

Here are the photos!!

Some running shots. (No rubbing at all. )
