thanks, man! I'm a huge advocate of custom exhaust. what you're hearing is a vibrant muffler and resonator welded on to some 3" pipes from the turbo back. we also put some curves in the wastegate dump tube for less screaming and more flowing sound

Yea man, I saw your vids and can definitely say it sounds great and beastly
Nice updates, it's all about what you feel and glad to see a progressive build. I still am jealous with your CF middle console, looks bad ass.

can you tell I like carbon too?
not to toot any horns, but I do think it's the best dash kit out there. Sherwood Dash produced it. great customer service too... they sent me an exact match, "sample" blank sheet for my gauge piece 9 years after I bought the kit!

and, yeah, definitely in the thick of this build. been sourcing parts for this since 2012 lots of engine updates and surprises coming soon!

I've never been a fan of the stick-on carbon fiber kits for our interior, but I do like the decal for the gauge cluster! Looks great, that little sticker fits perfectly! Mine says TRD though lol

^^ good idea with the billet tensioner, I did that too as soon as I boosted the car. Don't need something silly like a flaky tensioner ruining the whole setup.

^ well said. it was fun experimenting with stock parts and boost but gotta get serious sometime!

not sure where the tensioner came from, Jeremy. I think my guy sourced it from FB.... $190!

GTE head gasket... no idea what the final will be. basically just going with the flow of what my highly-experienced builder wants to do, ha

~17psi... what's more important is the torque it held BUT that really is at their limits. I've heard of higher specs back in the day but longevity was certainly sacrificed.

another small parts update and one of the last to source showed up today... in fact, I think this marks the very LAST aftermarket component. All that's left are OEM Toyota parts

Soo, in lieu of reliability, I decided to ditch the SRT kit-supplied, no-name waste gate for this

ALL springs included

I love TiAL's packaging:

can you tell I love black too?
