im counting on this to work!! i put my whole car operation on hold after reading this
We have decided to enroll this item in our "Green Header" program. This means it has been decided to include 2 ultra flow 200 cell metallic cats on each header. This will ensure max flow and emissions friendliness with power. It's a proven recipe with us.

Why?

Better sound, no O2 spoofing required, passes emissions in 49 states and very minimal power loss if any.

Quite a bit actually. We noticed less rasp and very even, clean tone.

So that when the cats die you don't end up with junk header / need a welder to cut out the old ones and install the new ones.

In 5 years I will have the worlds fastest IS300... because everyone else will have parted out and bought an M3.

I have a tokensolutions o2 sim. I just hate cats. IMO a option without cats at a cheaper cost would be nice.

pipe is cheaper than 2 cats.

This is true, however there would be no need for ancillary items like that O2 delete. It adds better tone, makes it emissions friendly and performs well.

Look at some these 4cyl results. We made more power than catless options.

Look at the gains compared to factory here:

S/C with our header over stock

Our catted vs non-catted. We made 1whp less with a cat, but had slightly more power over throughout the power band....This was still 10whp over stock on both cases. We are the green line.

Well if the cats dont reduce horsepower thats great, but id like to get every little hp i can even if its just 1. Im also with Nyke about being a fan of no cats. it would help keep cost down, and even with a 5yr warranty it be nice to just not have to worry about a cat. And i personally like my exhaust to be really loud, even tho i know thats kinda ricer, so my votes for no cats...but like i said earlier either way im happy to see somebody developing quality NA mods

if dezod doesn't offer a catless version, you could always get the header and cut it out then sell the cat on ebay

'01 ASP 17x8 ssr comps 225/45 all around, LS400 bbk, FX-R 3.0 projector retrofit in JDM headlights, Modellista front, c-speed sides/rear, Rigid Bars, Hotchkis sways(stiff), Konis & eibach prokit, PLP intake tube & K&N filter, JIC Ti axleback w/ custom midpipe...more to come ;)
