Did you guys get the CEL, traction control, o2 sensor simulator and etc... straightened out? Will you be able to pass plug in OBD II emissions tests using the AEM EMS?

CELs, yes there will be one or 2.

Traction control, no need to straighten it out. AEM has one that works better than stock.

OBD2 emissions plug in passing, you will not pass. Sorry.

Planning to get back into the boost game? Third time is the charm...get a 6 speed and stroker kit this time!

With all full standalones, you'll get a P1300 CEL if you remove the stock ignitor from the picture. This is going to be required if you want full timing control, the good news is once you simulate the ignitor traction control is back and the P1300 will never appear again. The post cat O2s can be simulated with an O2 simulator. After that you need 1 working pre cat O2 and the rest is tuning to pass the OBD2 emissions plugin test.

What I mean by removing the stock ignitor is removing the stock ECU's control of telling the ignitor when to fire the coilpacks. There are ways to implicit control timing by delaying the IGT (ignition trigger) signal to the ignitor i.e. retard timing but you'll never have precise control of timing. To have full precise control of it, you'll need to remove the control from the ECU. When the ECU fires the trigger it expects a response (IGF) back from the ignitor. If it doesn't get the IGF signal then it will register it as a problem thus the P1300.

Yep! I figured a little less than that out through some trial and error and some reading on here. Mine works just fine! Kick ass item Dezod!!!!!

01 BO IS300 E-Shift-Project is back underway, but I think it will be all motor for now. DAMN EMISSIONS!

Dezod Motorsports came through on the AEM EMS for me...BIG ups fellas!!!
