AEM Infinity IS300?

Now that the AEM Infinity has rolled out even more options like the 6H and price point is very good, would there be any interest in offering this to the community?

More info on the Infinity 6:

INFINITY-6/8H STAND-ALONE PROGRAMMABLE EMS (Single ECU connector)

The Infinity-6 and Infinity-8h ECU, an affordable state-of-the-art engine control unit designed for four- and six-cylinder racing engines and V8 racing engines using high-impedance injectors. Extensive research and development was put into designing the Infinity-6/8h to ensure that it delivers an unmatched price point for this level of engine control.

VE based tuning using airflow calculation models
Flex fuel compensation
Multi fuel strategy
Internal wideband controllers
Data logs 100 channels at up to 1KHz
Data logging playback with controls synchronization
Up to 8 injector drivers
Up to 8 (0-5V) ignition outputs (igniter required)
Up to 3 analog temp inputs
Up to 9 analog voltage inputs
Two knock inputs
Up to 8 digital inputs
Up to 4 VR/Mag inputs
One stepper control
80 pin, fully sealed ECU enclosure and IP67 spec connectors

We can probably offer units in parallel to the factory ECU to retain ABS, A/C and dash working, or we can offer full ECU replacement for those whom don't care about those things and are willing to rewire some.

Thoughts?

I was looking at it the other day and other then the faster data and some other extra inputs I really don't see the different from the v2, is there?
and how much would it be for the to run in parallel with the stock ecu
and I would assume every thing would be working including the tcs ?

Totally different speeds, control, software etc. It's really light years ahead of the V2 software and speed wise. I mean you can accurately run the entire car in closed loop with O2 feedback. It's astounding.

If ran in parallel, yes all of the functionality with the exception of the traction control would work. That doesn't work (my theory) due to IGF not being seen by the factory ECU.

I've heard of this and am VERY interested for YOU to bring it to the IS community!
especially, simplified OEM ECU deletion

These words together in context make zero sense and shouldn't be used together. Because anytime you remove a sophisticated OEM ECU architecture system, there is plenty of work to make it all work nicely again. The factory ECU is spider webbed into too many things to nail down a simple solution for everything. Not to mention, the time and $$ into the R&D side of things would probably be astronomical and almost never recouped. So unless we develop a system where most things are happy and the customer can solve some things on their own, then I don't see that happening anytime soon.

anyway, "simplified" was the term used. Not, "simple". Some of us still know a thing or two about hard-wiring and don't run away if something isn't offered as 'PnP'

soooo, what do you mean by offering full ECU replacement if it won't simplify the process?

this could be hearsay but I heard (months ago) that if any standalone can replace the ECU, this is the one.

It's all in joking humor.

It has all of the potential, but the ancillary items like ABS, CAN/BUSm dash etc makes it a little more difficult.

That's all in the tuning. The V2 can even make the throttle changes smooth.

having only ONE connector is what I would want. It would make diagnostic work that much easier.

Dezod, have you made any progress on this? I don't mind running the oem ecu in parallel AND Paying a premium for the PnP harness and startup calibration - it's the outdated S2 that is a turn off. If you can do the Infinity-6 in similar architecture Id be very interested.
