PROAngle is the name we have coined for our top of the line competition steering angle kits. These kits feature a ground up design and incorporate various components at different price points to serve the evolving Lexus drift market.
2013 is the year PROAngle was developed. Starting with several tube prototypes the final "Competition Kits" evolved into an array of 200 components all serving specific and unique purposes to achieve the highest steering angle possible. Everything has been thought through from wheel clearance to strength support at full lock to serviceability and modularity, we wanted this kit to exceed anything else on the market in build quality and design regardless of platform.
PROAngle kits offer up to 70* degrees of steering angle with full steering rack travel.

Hundreds of hours of development and testing have produced the most advanced and complete steering angle kit available for the Lexus IS300 and derivative chassis (SXE10, X-Chassis, GXE10). An easy to set up, extremely strong and resilient kit that stands up to pro competition is finally embodied in our first public release. Over 200 components, many of them custom-designed, allow up to 70* degrees of steering angle and clearance adjustment. This kit is intended for pro/pro-am drivers in sanctioned competitions not for street use.
"The Competition Kit"
Our kit is a complete bolt-in kit for the entire front suspension. Only the factory spindle is reused. The kit utilizes factory chassis mounting points, making it legal in the Formula Drift Pro Class 2014 rulebook. You will need aftermarket or flared fenders with at least 2-2.5" of extra clearance.

Competition Kit Features:
-Increased front track by 2-3" per side.
-Mobility to adjust control arms forward for increased caster and firewall clearance.
-Boxed upper control arm with 2 degrees of sliding static caster adjustment. 3 degrees of camber adjustment. Camber adjustment requires dismount. TIG and MIG mixed process welded.
-Mild steel plate lateral control arm with up to an 1" of track width adjustment. Caster arm mounts via 2 bolts. MIG welded by default. TIG welded version available for additional cost..
-Adjustable tubular fabricated, oversized caster arms for increased strength and tire clearance.
-High steer clevis-style knuckle to distribute shear load and provide 0 static Ackerman steering. Ackerman at full lock is 10 degrees different between leading and trailing wheels, the latter having less angle. TIG welded steel construction.
-Adjustable steering stop plates.
-Designed to work with factory brake caliper. Additional angle is possible with a low profile caliper.
-Designed for front sway bar elimination. Sway bar use is possible, but will decrease steering angle.
-Fabricated steering rack combo spacer and offset adapters with spherical bearings. These eliminate inner tie rod ends and make the entire steering connection a swaged 7/8" tube vs the 14mm connecting rod of most inner tie rod ends. High load wide spherical bearings can withstand 7730 lbs axial load rating.
-3/4" PTFE-lined spherical rod end used at inner and knuckle mounts, providing precise steering and serviceability.
-5/8" PTFE-lined spherical rod end used at steering connection to outer knuckle with bump steer adjustability.
-Massive 1" PTFE-lined spherical rod ends used in caster arm for rigid chassis mount.
-Extended braided steel brake lines included with kit for increased track and routing options.
-Finished in FIGS standard grey powdercoat. Ceramic coating option is available for greater impact resistance.
Setup Requirements for Maximum Angle
-Kit requires upgraded front triangle brace to support load on the Caster arm mounts. Brace should have increased plate thickness or stiffness on the connection between the 2 chassis supports and the #2 bushing mount.
-Wheels: ideally 17x8" or 18x8" with +30 to +20 offset.
-Tires width 225-245
-2.5" fender flares or widebody fenders.
-Springs rates of at least 14k front, 16k suggested. 2 ways adjustable shocks.
-Low profile BBK or caliper setup similar to our aluminum caliper kits.
Drifting is a destructive, unrelenting motorsport. While our kits are designed with the highest strength in mind, sometimes tandem battles and off-track incidents lead to damage. Our kits are designed to be serviceable and each component is available separately. Contact FIGS for replacement spares.
Due to the modular knuckle design, we can create custom Ackerman angles on request. We advise trying the kit first as-is and then placing a request if you would like specific changes. We are here to make your kit the best it can be for You, the driver.
Unfortunately, we cannot warranty any component failure due to collision or off-track incident. We will warranty parts due to craftsmanship defects under normal use for the period of one year. Rod ends are considered wear items and are not covered under any warranty unless defective on initial use. All claim approvals are at the sole discretion of FIGS to determine what will be covered and applies to original purchaser only.
* Requires precise wheel and tire specs, consult FIGS for suggestions. Max angle is a balance of steering rack travel, arm length and tire and wheel clearance. Due to these factors each vehicle will need slight tuning initially to optimize performance. Factory steering rack travel is 100% utilized and this max have long term effects on the rack. Currently, factory steering rack boots are removed with this kit.
