I picked up most of the laser cut parts. Had to leave the large part because it would not fit in the F. So I will pick it up later this week and weld up the first this weekend.

so here are some teaser pics. Bending these on my bender was impossible so I am going to cut up the second one into separate peices and jsut weld them together...a v brake works much better than a box brake for sheetmetal bends this long and irregular. I will use this to see if anything need to be trimmed. Fins did not go down all the way either (I must have missed that interference check.) But I actually kinda like them this way. Anyway...digest.

based on that photo, it looks like you have a main center section and then two wings. when shipping, could one opt to have it sent in three pieces so they could weld it themselves? smaller box of the same weight should be cheaper to ship no?

right now it is 3 peices, mount plate, winged section and center insert. It will have to broken into 3 peices from one that it is now. I will probably separate the peices and then include rivets to assemble it. A large heavy box would most likely cost more to ship than the peice it self.

I will try to get some pics later today on the carcass and see how far off I am.

Still much more work to do to finalize things but this gives me good reference points. I will try to cut up the other blank and get a more presentable version as well as a final arc on the merging fold into the bumper and sort out the rest of the mounting.

Mounting holes in spare tire well.

Oh my god fig, that thing is just nasty. we all owe you so much for spending so long on getting this thing right. you are always up for offering options on parts to fit everyone's desires, and you always do an awesome job on quality functional stuff. this thing is just badass. can't wait to see it in it's carbon rendition.
