i have a 2009 is250 AWD.

the stock rims and tires size are 225/45/17

im looking at this set of black work VSXX i want to put on, same all around. what offset should i be looking at? whats the oem offset of the AWD wheels?

I want to go 19inch. I want all 4 wheels sticking out a bit compare to the oem wheel fitment. lets say the oem offset is +45, can i go +40 or 35 all around without damaging the AWD system?

Thanks

The AWD wheel offsets are 45mm. So if you want the wheels to fit more flush, you can go up to 35mm (assuming you keep the same wheel width.)

I would not roll the fenders on the new IS. Just my personal opinion.

I am planning on getting Work Sporbo Durata 18x8.5 + 38 front and 18x9.5 + 45 rear.

Tires are hankook k110 225/40/18 & 255/35/18

You guys think these settings are ok?

so basically the larger the offset number, the more the wheel sticks out?

Settings look fine.

The lower the offset, and wider the wheel....... the more it sticks out.
The higher the offset, and narrower the wheel.... the more it sticks in.

this is for others who may be wondering if 19 inch rims fit, yes they do without any issues and fill the arches quite nicely, i went with 9.5 rears and 8.5 fronts, tyres are 255 30 19 rear and 225 35 19 fronts using goodyear tyres, even with 3 guys sitting in the trunk no rubbing at all, in front no rubbing on full lock, ...im so glad ive lost the skinny wheel look from the rear.....just waiting for the trunk and front lip spoilers now...

I own a 2007 RWD IS 250 and am lookin into getting rims. Im lookin into getting the Konig Lace rims and staying with 18's to keep the ride of the car comparable to stock. However i want to go staggered and have it look as aggresive as possible. These wheels come in the following sizes and offsets:
18 x 8 - 45 or 35 Offset
18 x 9.5 - 25 or 45 Offset

So, will all of the offsets fit? Without rub?
Which combination will give me the widest rear with biggest lip and normal to thin front tire/lip (ie the most aggressive look)?

Lastly, any opinions on the rims themself?

Thanks, much appreciated.
