Ride height questions.

So my question here is this. (Also its a noob one) I lowered my car 2" in the front and about 1.5" in the rear with lowering springs. I currently have stock wheels with stock tire sizes. Currently the front fenders sit a little lower than the top of the tire and looks good. As for the back there is still wheel gap. Now im looking at getting 18" xxr wheels with 215/45/18 size tires. Im concerned that if I put the 18's on it will actually raise the car up a little more and make it more like a monster truck. Or am I just paranoid and the car height will stay the same and the wheels will just sit up more in the fender? Thanks for any and all input.

Lets all be nice.

215/45/18 will raise the car up off the ground a bit and thats not what you want. You want to go with 215/40 or 215/35 to keep the ground clearance at a minimum. Now for the gap in the rear, do you have a spare in the trunk? Those full size spares are heavy enough to compress the springs, to give it that even look. Add subs and stuff and you wont need to go with 18s. Unless thats your preference
