I was wondering can the ls460/400 drivetrain "engine and transmission" fit in the is250 because I would like to do a swap including the Awd system

Where there is a will there is a way but that would cost a considerable amount of money. If you wanted to go with a V8 I would suggest you just go rwd you would save a lot of money and headache. Instead of a LS400 setup I would also suggest the LSX platform as it has much more support in the aftermarket community and it makes alot more power from jump. Like I said anything is possible but I am not sure a swap like that would be worth it to each his own though.
