Supra 2JZ or Aristo 2JZ in an 06 is250 manual

Hey guys, just a quick question as I'm curious to know which of these 2Jz engines would be Abit less of a headache to swap into the is250? I'm hunting around online for a 2jz and a v160/v161 6sp for the swap but can't really find much comparing the 2, I've heard the aristo 2j is abit easier in a way but it just comes down to reliability, anyone know the differences?

sorry to burst your bubble but i dont think you will have any luck swapping a 2JZ into a 2nd gen IS. i have seen it once, and i believe the owner paid over 30grand to have it running properly.

It was Lance (of Toyomoto fame) who did it. He has untold resources running deep in the world and was able to pull it off after about 2 years of work. Good luck getting him to divulge any secrets about it though.
